My time was 25:54
My set of mahlers included pushups, and then after doing one full cycle, i realized i was doing a bunch of pushups anyway.
I used 15lbs for the sumo squats, until i dropped to 10lbs by set #7.
oh, and i was doing non-pushup burpees.

J, nice work!

Awesome!
My burpees were also of the non-push-up variety. My mahlers do involve a push-up like motion, though I'm not sure it's a full push-up. I basically land with elbows bent to absorb the impact, and then I use my arms to shove my body back to starting position. So it's kinda like a plyo push-up, but not entirely. Oh, and my sumo squats were body weight only.

wait... you can straighten your arms?

GFY.

They may be short, but they do bend.

i seem incapable of doing my mahlers in a single smooth motion. Specifically, going from being on my back to my feet actually involves two steps for me. 1st, rolling onto my heels. 2nd, bouncing from my heels onto my toes, to keep me from rolling back onto my back. I guess i could try making that second motion into more, by bouncing onto my toes AND projecting my upper body forward. I'm hesitant. Maybe that's why i have terrible layout form.
I'll try this again early next week(end).

J: I know they bend. But can you Straighten them?

Ellis: "seem" is the key. think not on your form. go as quickly as you can from supine to prone and back. each motion is as explosive as possible.

hesitation? really? you're a grown-ass man!

@dusty.rhodes: see also previous GFY.

On the Mahlers, as I rock back, I extend my arms (don't fucking start, dusty!) back over my head and straighten my back. Then, I explosively contract my abs while simultaneously pulling my arms into my core. That provides a lot of power and enough momentum to get back upright and forward.
